Our development projects include work on estates and developing existing buildings. We also carry out structural engineers surveys and provide reports.
This concrete framed, eleven storey block of flats was designed with cast in situ reinforced concrete slab floors. We designed the structural elements of the building including the underground car park and riverside walkway.
The project involved the reclamation of part of the Thames foreshore, which meant that it was necessary for us to work in close contact with the local authorities and community. The project also featured complex sheet piled and reinforced concrete retaining walls.
An adjacent listed building required close liaison with both the building owners and the local authority to resolve difficulties of the new basement car park construction.
This project was a complex, six storey block of flats, combining a conversion of the existing Victorian building and a new build, including a penthouse apartment. The design included two levels of car parking, with one in the basement.
We employed piled foundations with reinforced concrete pile caps, a basement slab and retaining walls. There are contiguous piled wall against party wall structures and steel framed penthouses at roof level.
The finish is a mixture of render and curtain walling.
